Position Summary:
We are seeking a Systems Administrator with 3–6 years of experience to support and maintain our IT environment across endpoints, cloud platforms, and SaaS applications. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across Windows and macOS systems, identity platforms, and modern cloud-based tooling. As part of the help desk staff, you’ll interact with every department at Pareto Health. You’ll play a key role in ensuring reliability, security, and scalability of our systems while supporting end users and internal teams as well as interfacing with external partners and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 1 and 2 support to end users and collaborate with internal IT and external support teams
- Administer and support Windows and macOS environments and users, including provisioning, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting
- Manage device and user lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, inventory, compliance) using MDM tools (e.g., Intune, NinjaOne, Kandji, jamf, or similar)
- Administer Microsoft 365 (Entra ID/Azure AD, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint) including user management, licensing, and policies
- Manage and support SaaS applications (e.g., Salesforce, Dropbox, Jira, Asana, etc.), including user provisioning, SSO configuration, and access control
- Assist in implementing and maintaining security best practices, including endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, and audit readiness
- Troubleshoot identity and access management (IAM) systems, including SSO, MFA, and role-based access controls
- Support AI tools and environments (e.g., OpenAI, Copilot, internal AI platforms), including access, governance, and usage monitoring
- Monitor system performance and reliability; troubleshoot issues and escalate when necessary
- Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations
- Assist with software licensing management and vendor coordination
- Occasional on-call or off-hours assistance for business-impacting emergency help.
Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of Windows and macOS administration
- Experience with Microsoft 365 / Entra ID (Azure AD) and related services
- Experience with MDM solutions (Intune, NinjaOne, Kandji, JAMF)
- Understanding of identity management, SSO (SAML/OIDC), and MFA
- Working knowledge of basic security principles (least privilege, endpoint security, patching, logging) and tools including EDR, MDR, SIEM, etc.
- Experience managing SaaS platforms and user provisioning workflows
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Other relevant skills, not strictly required:

- Familiarity with AWS core services, especially IAM and EC2
- Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or similar)
Requirements

- Experience supporting a mixed OS environment (Windows and macOS)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, AWS)
- Experience with identity providers (Entra ID, Okta, or similar)
- Familiarity with AI tools/platforms
- Exposure to security and compliance practices (SOC 2, ISO, etc.) is a plus
- Certifications in Azure or AWS administration are a plus.
