Job Description:

Afin de soutenir sa forte croissance au Québec, Parsons est actuellement à la recherche active de plusieurs candidats en infrastructures de transports incluant des ingénieurs et des techniciens en génie routier et génie municipal, en maintien de la circulation et planification des transports, ainsi qu’en ouvrages d’art.

  • Maintien des actifs et inspection du Pont de Québec;

  • Conception de l’échangeur Turcot, dont le pont haubané du canal de Lachine;

  • Évaluations sismiques des ponts Jacques-Cartier, Clément, Honoré-Mercier, Alexandra (Ottawa) et Prince-of-Wales (Ottawa);

  • Réfection majeure du pont-tunnel Louis-H.-La Fontaine et des tunnels Ville-Marie et Viger;

  • Construction du pont international Gordie-Howe (Ontario), à titre d’ingénieur du propriétaire;

  • Déconstruction du pont Champlain.

  • Plusieurs autres projets en mode alternatif à venir en 2026 au Québec et au Canada où Parsons a agi à titre de concepteur en chef, d’ingénieur du propriétaire ou de certificateur indépendant.

Actuellement, l’équipe de Ponts et Tunnels est à la recherche d'un Ingénieur inspecteur - Ponts et tunnels pour se joindre à notre bureau de Québec. 

  • Baccalauréat en génie civil (spécialisation en structures un atout)

  • Intérêt pour l’inspection en accès sur corde

  • 3+ années d'expérience professionnelle en inspection de ponts et tunnels

  • Membre de l’Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec ou d’une autre province Canadienne

  • Connaissance des normes de ponts (incluant la norme CAN/CSA-S6) et des logiciels d'analyse structurale (SAP, CSiBridge, ADA, etc.)

  • Les certifications du MTMD (conception, inspection, entretien, construction et réparation des structures, etc.) sont un atout

What We Offer

✓Inspection of Québec Bridge, Quebec
✓Design of Turcot Interchange, including the cable-stayed bridge over the Lachine Canal
✓Seismic assessments of the Jacques-Cartier, Clément, Honoré-Mercier, Alexandra (Ottawa) and Prince-of-Wales (Ottawa) bridges
✓Major rehabilitation of the Louis-H.-La Fontaine bridge-tunnel and the Ville-Marie and Viger tunnels;
✓Construction of the Gordie-Howe International Bridge (Ontario), as owner's engineer;
✓Deconstruction of the Champlain Bridge
✓Several other alternative-mode projects are planned for 2026 in Quebec and Canada, where Parsons has acted as lead designer, owner's engineer or independent certifier.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (specialization in structures is an asset)

  • Interest in rope access inspection

  • 3+ years of professional experience in bridge and tunnel inspection

  • Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec or another Canadian province

  • Knowledge of bridge standards (including CAN/CSA-S6 standard) and structural analysis software (SAP, CSiBridge, ADA, etc.)

  • MTMD certifications (design, inspection, maintenance, construction, and repair of structures, etc.) are an asset

  • Excellent physical condition and ability to work in demanding environments.

  • Rigor, precision, and keen observation skills.

  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

  • Professional Development:

    • Obtain your Rope Access Certification (e.g., IRATA or SPRAT) and acquire specialized skills in inspection and rope access techniques.

    • Opportunity to work on unique and complex projects, often iconic (historic bridges, major infrastructures).

    • Participate in the preparation and verification of deliverables (feasibility studies, preliminary project studies, load capacity evaluations, seismic assessments, structural analyses, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules, etc.).

  • Varied work, including visual inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and structural analyses.

  • Frequent travel, allowing you to discover different sites and environments.

    • Essential role in accident prevention and extending the lifespan of infrastructures.

    • Direct impact on the quality and safety of civil engineering structures.

    • Dynamic work environment, often outdoors in scenic locations.

    • Technical and physical challenges that make the profession rewarding.

    Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec so incumbents can communicate with their colleagues and partners in Quebec as necessary. French-language training is offered to all incumbents in permanent positions in Quebec who do not have a good knowledge of French.
