About your Role:

As a Family Finding Caseworker for Juniata County, you will work with children, youth and families across Juniata County in conjunction with Children & Youth Services. Meeting with families to explain the Family Finding process, you will work to identify and contact relatives and/or other supportive adult relatives for children in foster care using a multitude of services and approved systems to gather data and coordinate meetings focused on developing plans for families to commit and maintain lifelong connections to the youth. 

Perks of this role:

• Competitive pay rate - $18.00 to $19.00/per hour - based on education and experience
• Schedule is typically 8am to 4:30pm, M-F (is dependent on the families’ needs)
• Quarterly Productivity Bonus of $250 for meeting productivity requirements

Does the following apply to you?
 

• Minimum High School diploma/General Equivalency Diploma (GED) with 3 years related experience/training in working with children and families OR…
• Associate’s degree in a Human-Services or Child Development related field, with 1-year experience/training in working with children and/or families 
• A valid Pennsylvania Driver’s license with good driving record
