Job Description:
The Process Engineer will be responsible for effectively planning, organizing, directing and controlling strategies, projects and resources under his supervision. Perform the process of surveying, documenting, analyzing, implementing and improving operations processes to standardize the company's operational activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Survey, documentation and analysis of processes. Needs detection.
- Identify areas of improvement for operational efficiency through process design and implementation, documentation of procedures, process flows and line rebalancing, adapting equipment in response to facility conditions.
- Perform testing in all phases of production to determine and implement controls over applicable variables and troubleshooting production problems.
- Lead and oversee the training program at all applicable facilities; deliver training on most Lean tools using established standard training materials.
- Develop and maintain appropriate process monitoring controls and reports and identify actions to reduce costs, improve quality and cycle times.
- Conduct process standardization and implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma continuous improvement tools: 5S, DMAIC, Kaizen, VSM, Poka Yoke, FMEA and SPC.
- Follow-up and support the processes of external facilities.
Who You Are:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics or similar, with 1 to 3 years of experience in similar positions.
- Knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing /5'S /TPM/ Kaizen, Kanban, Six Sigma and ERP System.
- PLC knowledge (Preferred).
- Ability to work in a team. Supervision of personnel.
- Writing skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of statistical process control.
- Administration of high demand processes.
- Experience in process survey projects, improvement implementation, planning.
- Proficiency in EXCEL Advanced
- Availability to travel (American Visa Indispensable)
