Job Description:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling production projects, activities, and resources in a strategic manner. The role involves effective supervision of personnel under their responsibility to achieve optimal levels of productivity, efficiency, and compliance with objectives and goals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with established production processes and performance metrics.
• Manage all procedures under their supervision and ensure team members are knowledgeable and trained on them.
• Establish production line pace by verifying achievement of hourly targets.
• Ensure proper compliance with established procedures.
• Collaborate with the Quality and Engineering teams to improve and monitor processes, ensuring production line quality.
• Ensure the implementation of changes and/or improvements in the production line.
• Optimize processes with a focus on quality, scrap reduction, increased safety, and ergonomics.
• Effectively supervise human resources, materials, and production processes.
• Escalate employee needs and issues in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain appropriate controls and reports to reduce operating costs and improve quality and cycle time.

Who You Are:

• Industrial Engineer or final-year university student
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
• 3-5 years of warehouse experience, including receiving, finished goods management, inventory control, and FIFO stock rotation.
  
• 2-3 years of experience leading teams

Nice to Have:

• Technical knowledge of assembling and disassembling electronic equipment (cell phones)
• High skill level and dexterity in technical operational processes
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 Quality Standards
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Knowledge and use of measurement instruments
• Knowledge of 5S methodology and Lean principles
