What do I need to join the team?

• Applicants must have a valid Massachusetts C.N.A. Licence
• Be a compassionate person and enjoy making a difference in someone’s life
• A qualifying criminal background check and driving record
• Valid driver’s license
• A TB screening and Physical is required upon hire and a TB update every two years after

What Does the Job Entail?

You will provide assistance with daily activities and ensure a structured routine that includes but is not limited to house meetings, individual community outings, meal preparation, assistance with activities of daily living, personal care, family visitation facilitation, and medication distribution while maintaining human rights at all times. This position will implement Positive Behavior Support and individualized programs as identified in Individual Service Plans. At times, de-escalation and crisis management techniques may be required to maintain the safety of others.

As a Direct Care professional you will provide opportunities for individuals to integrate into the community and enjoy outings that interest them. Examples of some outings are:
