Full-Time Psychiatric Registered Nurses (RN)

Available Shifts

• Day Shift(s) and Night(s) shifts Available
• 12-hour shifts
• Weekend rotation required

As a Psychiatric RN, you will play a vital role in helping patients stabilize, heal, and achieve their treatment goals.

Responsibilities include:

• →Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adolescent and adult behavioral health patients.
• →Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• →Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment interventions as needed.
• →Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• →Document patient care thoroughly through daily nursing notes and electronic medical records.
• →Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• →Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment that protects patient dignity and rights.
• →Build trusting relationships with patients and their families.
• →Participate in treatment team meetings and discharge planning.
• →Support and mentor fellow nursing staff while promoting quality patient care.

• Current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact RN License eligible to practice in Texas.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Passion for patient-centered behavioral healthcare.

• Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric nursing, or pediatric nursing.
• Previous inpatient psychiatric experience.
• Knowledge of mental health assessments and crisis intervention.
