Manage the development and execution of fashion products for Perry Ellis Accessories and brands under it’s portfolio, in accordance with agreed upon design, pricing and brand strategy.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Follow a design calendar and development process to ensure timely completion.
- →Manage and execute product development in private label and golf brands under Perry Ellis umbrella, from concept to material selections and cost engineering
- →Executes merchandising strategies and seasonal line plans to build profitable assortments that will meet internal margin goals.
- →Understand target customer….shop retail stores to provide competitive analysis to enhance brand strategies and opportunities for private label and golf brands.
- →Analyze retail sales with planning and design team to identify opportunities in private brands
- →Interface with all functional areas of the business (design, sales, sourcing, marketing) to maintain common vision for the brand and bring compelling product to market
- →Communicate daily with overseas factories
- →Create Line sheets and other customer facing presentations with the use of google apps, adobe, or conceptboard.
- Knowledge of product development process
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong analytical and decision making skills
- Strong Organizational skills
- Ability to interact with varying personalities
- Must have ability to present a professional and informative product and trend assortment to those both inside and outside the organization
- Proficient in MS Office and Google
- Knowledge of retail math, LDP,DDP, FOB terms
- Adobe software experience a plus
- PLM experience a Plus
- Experience in leathergoods a plus
Salary offered will be commensurate with experience. For this New York based position, the expected base salary is $90,000 - $100,000.
