Phyllo is a data gateway that allows social data to be accessed from source platforms (e.g. YouTube, Twitch, Upwork, Shopify, Twitch, etc.). We build the underlying infrastructure that connects with every creator platform, maintain a live data feed to the systems used by these platforms to manage creators’ data, and provide a normalized data set so that businesses can use creators’ data in a simple yet impactful way.

Description: We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer who is passionate about building scalable, reliable, and user-friendly products. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across both frontend and backend development, with hands-on expertise in technologies such as React.js, JavaScript, Python, and FastAPI.

• →Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications across frontend and backend systems.
• →Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• →Develop robust backend services, APIs, and business logic using Python and FastAPI.
• →Design and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to support product functionality.
• →Build reusable frontend components and maintain scalable, modular application architecture.
• →Work with databases and data models to build efficient and reliable backend systems.
• →Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
• →Optimize applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• →Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the frontend and backend stack.
• →Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while following engineering best practices.
• →Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards, architecture, and development processes.
• →Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver features from ideation to deployment and production.
• →Stay updated with modern engineering practices, tools, and technologies and contribute
  ideas to improve the overall product and engineering ecosystem.

• You have 3–5 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
• You have strong hands-on experience with React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• You have professional experience building backend applications and APIs using Python and FastAPI or similar backend frameworks.
• You have a solid understanding of REST APIs, API integrations, backend architecture, and database concepts.
• You are comfortable working with frontend state management, component-based architecture, and React Hooks.
• You have experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases.
• You are familiar with modern development tools and practices, including Git, GitHub, Webpack, ESLint, and Chrome DevTools.
• You have a good understanding of software development fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, debugging, and system design.
• You are comfortable working in Agile teams with tools such as Git and Jira.
• You care about writing clean, maintainable, scalable, and reliable code.
• You have a strong sense of ownership and are comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• You are able to effectively communicate through written and spoken English.
• Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD, Docker, or deployment workflows is a plus.
