PIM Delivery Driver

Precision Industrial Manufacturing is hiring for a Delivery Driver that is a professional and responsible person for transporting steel components, materials, and products from the fabrication facility to construction sites, warehouses, or other designated locations.

Key responsibilities of a Steel Fabrication Delivery Driver for Precision Industrial Manufacturing include:

1. 
   Handling Precision Components: Transporting high-quality steel fabrications. These components may require careful handling and specialized packaging to maintain their precision during transit.
2. 
   Quality Assurance: Conducting visual inspections before loading and upon unloading to identify any potential damage or deviations from the required specifications.
3. 
   Customized Packaging: Loading and unloading of truck. Collaborating with the manufacturing team to ensure that precision components are securely packaged to prevent any damage or deformation during transportation. This may involve using specialized containers, padding, or protective measures.
4. 
   Documentation Accuracy: Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation related to each delivery, including itemized lists of components, quality control reports, and any specific instructions for handling or installation.
5. 
   Communication with Manufacturing Team: Keeping open lines of communication with the precision industrial manufacturing team to address any concerns, provide feedback on transportation challenges, and coordinate delivery schedules effectively.
6. 
   Adherence to Strict Schedules: Recognizing the critical nature of precision components in manufacturing processes and adhering to tight delivery schedules. Timely deliveries are essential to minimize downtime in production.
7. 
   Knowledge of Equipment: Must be competent at operating a forklift, and overhead crane.
8. 
   Safety Compliance: Adhering to all safety regulations and industry standards, especially those related to the transportation of industrial materials. This includes proper loading and securing techniques, as well as compliance with hazardous material transportation regulations if applicable.
9. 
   Customer Interaction: Interacting with clients or recipients of the precision components in a professional and customer-friendly manner. Addressing any inquiries and providing information about the delivery.
10. 
    When no deliveries are needed: Be willing to work in fabrication shop when there are no deliveries.
