The System Administrator is responsible for the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of all company computer systems—such as cloud servers, switches, firewalls, and cloud-based tools. They are also tasked with coordinating with other departments to assist in technical projects when necessary. This role leads IT projects end to end, including infrastructure migrations, software rollouts, and cross-functional technology initiatives, and supports the IT team's contribution to the company's SoC 2 audit cycle. 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with all internal teams to identify and implement necessary IT solutions 
  • Plan, configure, and maintain all infrastructure hardware and software systems 
  • Aid with escalated helpdesk support tickets 
  • Coordinate with outside vendors of hardware, software, and services to provide a seamless experience for end-users, anticipate future needs, and control organizational costs 
  • Investigate, understand, and resolve problems with local and remote infrastructure 
  • Administer access, permissions, and privileges for on-site resources and cloud services 
  • Lead IT projects from planning through post-implementation review, including system migrations, SaaS and software rollouts, and cross-team technology initiatives
  • Support IT's contribution to the company's SoC 2 audit: coordinate evidence collection, validate controls, and document IT processes and procedures in partnership with the security team's audit lead
  • Identify and pilot AI-driven improvements to IT service delivery
  • Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors 
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years minimum previous experience in a Systems Administrator, IT Ops, Network Administrator or IT engineer position.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated project management experience leading migrations, rollouts, or comparable initiatives across distributed teams
  • Manage Meraki firewalls, VPNs, switches, and access points across global offices; monitor bandwidth usage and ISP contracts
  • Hands-on administration of Okta, Intune, Jamf, M365, Zscaler, and Microsoft Teams
  • Proficient in PowerShell 
  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi) 
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure 
  • Ticketing/issue tracking software 
  • Self-directed: sets and meets deadlines, multi-tasks, and prioritizes 
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily

Compensation

  • Annual base salary: $110,000 - $125,000
  • Target annual bonus percentage: 10%
