Product Operations Manager

This Product Operations Manager leads the implementation of new product features, including an emphasis on the operation of our telematics program, with goals of ensuring accuracy and promoting ease of doing business for Plymouth Rock’s personal lines products sold in the assigned market(s) for the Direct division. This person is responsible for independently managing projects, providing oversight in the implementation of new product features, recommending improvements in the telematics operations and other process improvements. This role serves as a liaison between the Product department and all of the other departments that interface with the group.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Product Operations Manager would lead the product specific project management work, including:

• Creating business requirements for product driven changes,
• Providing product expertise for changes driven by other business units,
• Liaising with IT partners and other business units on projects,
• Ensuring accuracy of product implementation both prior to implementation and post implementation,
• Ensure telematics program accuracy,
• Managing IT related budgets

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 or more years in project management or other technical or analytical role.
• Experience developing and implementing new, creative and effective solutions to complex business issues.
• Experience managing relationships with upper management and with technical developers.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently on a high volume of tasks.
• Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to utilize quantitative approaches to generate sound business analyses with detail orientation. Identify results out of the norm, draw conclusions and articulate findings.
• Attention to detail.
• Understanding of and experience within the insurance industry is preferred.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
• MS-SQL (or related software) skill preferred.

SALARY RANGE

The pay range for this position is $115,000 to $151,000 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.​
