Our developers are encouraged to grow with the team and become proficient in delivering end-to-end solutions.
- Eagerness to step out of your comfort zone and learn. You will encounter mathematical and statistical concepts that require understanding and implementing user requirements. You may also need to use multiple programming languages and frameworks within a single project to provide the most effective solution.
- Proficiency in English reading and writing. Our team members come from diverse backgrounds, and daily communication is primarily in English, while limited speaking ability is acceptable.
- Familiarity with our primary languages and frameworks, which include C#, TypeScript, Python, React, FastAPI, and .NET Core.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, Anaconda, RESTful API, WebSocket, and gRPC is also preferred.
- Knowledge of Cloud, CI/CD setup, CDK/Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge, such as understanding correlation and standard deviation, and basic linear algebra operations related to matrices.
- A financial background is not a prerequisite, as we understand that candidates may not have prior experience in hedge funds or investment banks. At Polymer, our financial concepts are accessible and designed to be learned through hands-on project involvement.
