This position reports directly to the Worldwide Purchasing Manager. 
 Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Review purchase requests for accuracy, completeness, appropriate account coding, budget availability, and required approvals.
  • Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, pricing, delivery schedules, and terms and conditions.
  • Prepare, issue, and maintain purchase orders in the company’s procurement system.
  • Monitor open purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to clarify purchasing requirements and resolve procurement-related issues.
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with qualified suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field preferred or equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience in procurement, indirect purchasing
  • Experience processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders in an ERP system.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Procurement or similar purchasing systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of supplier negotiations, quotation analysis, purchasing procedures, and procurement controls.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other standard business applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective negotiation and vendor relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Commitment to ethical purchasing practices and policy compliance.
Power Integrations is committed to building teams that drive innovation and therefore review a range of factors when determining compensation.  The annual base pay range for this position is $90,000 to $123,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, qualifications and work location.  
The range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position in California. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
