    Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical audits as needed
  • Maintain current knowledge of nursing best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Availability to work Monday–Saturday daytime schedules
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Current Massachusetts RN license required
  • CPR certification required
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in sexual and reproductive health
  • Experience with health equity and public health initiatives preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-based environment
  • Physical requirements: standing 95% of the workday, lifting up to 30 lbs. unassisted, and ability to bend, reach, and stock supplies
  • Provide recovery room care, including patient assessment, education, discharge, and follow-up support
  • Administer medications in accordance with provider orders and established protocols
  • Perform venipuncture, point-of-care testing, and IV insertion/removal
  • Support family planning, medication abortion, STI services, and triage-related activities
  • Participate in after-hours RN on-call coverage (2–6 shifts per month)
  • Triage clinical questions, abnormal results, referrals, and prescription requests
  • Manage patient follow-up activities in accordance with established protocols
  • Participate in after-hours RN on-call coverage (2–6 shifts per month)
  • Assist with procedural care, including moderate sedation administration and patient monitoring
  • Perform controlled substance counts in accordance with policy
  • Provide patient education and counseling related to procedures and reproductive health services
  • Support centralized nursing services and patient follow-up activities
  • Manage patient follow-up reports and related workflows
  • Provide in-clinic nursing support as needed
  • Review patient records for medical eligibility and documentation accuracy
  • Coordinate clinic workflow, patient flow, and emergency response activities
  • Support follow-up care management and care coordination
  • Train, mentor, and support nursing staff as needed
  • Train and mentor Centralized Services RNs and support staff learning new roles
