Machine Utility

The Machine Utility is responsible for supporting the operation of manufacturing equipment. This includes feeding materials into machines and assisting machine operators and helpers with a wide range of duties to ensure production runs smoothly and safely. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient workflow and product quality.

• →Assist with the setup and operation of production machinery, focusing on feeding materials (such as paperboard or other materials) into the equipment.
• →Provide support to machine operators and helpers with various tasks to ensure a smooth and continuous workflow.
• →Help ensure all orders are produced with the correct materials and meet quality specifications.
• →Assist in monitoring and recording material consumption and production data.
• →Work collaboratively with team members to achieve quality, productivity, and safety targets.
• →Adhere to the daily production schedule and assist in optimizing processes to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.
• →Proactively identify and report equipment issues or maintenance needs to supervision.
• →Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols, including maintaining a clean and organized work area.

• Language Skills: Ability to read and follow instructions.
• Mathematical Skills: Proficient at reading a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Reasoning Ability: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to follow written, oral, or graphic instructions.
• Physical Demands:
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear.
  • Frequently uses hands to handle or feel objects and reaches with hands and arms.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Work Environment: The role is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet conditions, and loud noise.
