Corrugator Stacker

Shifts Available: 3rd Shift 

Hourly Rate: $19.50 

The Corrugator Stacker Operator is responsible for all activities associated with stacking sheets from the corrugator including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Ability to read production sheets and adhere to production schedule.
•Count and verify unit and inch counts of units.
•Ensure proper load tags are in each unit and appearance meets plant requirements.
•Operate corrugator conveyor lines and unitizer.
•Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
•Quickly identify any quality defects and communicate immediately to machine operators.
•Conducts quality checks using micrometer, tape measure, etc.
•Additional duties may be assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:
•Must have A High school diploma or GED
•Must have the ability to work a 2nd shift position.
•Ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy up to 1/16” variance.
•Able to work extended work hours and weekends, as needed

•Ability to add, subtract, & multiply
•Must pass background check, drug screen, physical, & Caetus Aptitude testing.

•While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
•While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
•The employee is frequently exposed to wet, hot and/or humid conditions.
•The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and vibration.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
•Must have basic computer skills (Data Entry).

PREFERRENCES:
•Prior work experience in the corrugated industry.
•6 months’ experience in the corrugator.
