Role: Education Center Operations Manager / Location Manager (Part Time)

As the face of Preface, you'll create a welcoming environment, engage students and parents, and foster a strong learning community. You’ll bridge relationships between parents, Nomads (teachers), and students, ensuring alignment with Preface’s mission and values.


Ideal for Individuals returning back to the workforce who have strong customer service skills and are excited to re-engage in a people-focused, community-driven environment.


About the role

1. Student & Parent Engagement

  • Greet families warmly and maintain an organised learning space.
  • Serve as the primary contact for learning progress, class discussions, and course recommendations.
  • Assist parents with the customer portal, schedules, and progress updates.

2. Teacher Support & Classroom Readiness

  • Coordinate substitute teachers and ensure class materials are prepared.
  • Monitor teacher dress code and enforce Preface lanyard use.
  • Support pre-class setup, including tech checks and classroom readiness.

3. Community Building & Sales Growth

  • Maintain clear communication via WhatsApp, phone, email, and in-person.
  • Promote courses, discounts, and events to boost enrolments.
  • Organise on-site events like experience days and parent workshops.
  • Drive retention through referrals and student success highlights.

4. Operational Excellence

  • Manage schedules, attendance, and front desk inquiries.
  • Support company-wide events and analyze attendance trends.
  • Uphold Preface brand standards and keep marketing materials updated.



 Who You Are

    • 3-5+ years of experience in retail, customer service/facing, hotel, members club or education centre
    • Looking for a bit of flexibility with work 
    • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with builder mindset
    • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
    • Sales and relationship building skills
    • Detail-oriented and proactive in solving problems
    • Passionate about education and community building
    • Able to multitask and manage classroom operations efficiently
    • Fluent in English and Cantonese (spoken and written)
