At Prenuvo, we are on a mission to flip the paradigm from reactive “sick-care” to proactive health care. Our award-winning whole body scan is fast (under 1 hour), safe (MRI has no ionizing radiation), and non-invasive (no contrast). Our unique integrated stack of optimized hardware, software, and increasingly AI, coupled with the patient-centric experience across our domestic and global clinics, have allowed us to lead the change against “we caught it too late again".
We are looking for an Annotation Program Manager to join our AI Research team. This is a program management role at its core and the operational backbone of our AI model delivery pipeline. The right person owns the systems, cadence, and accountability structures that keep annotation work moving at scale, working cross-functionally across AI Research, product, and clinical functions to coordinate priorities and drive accountability with stakeholders who have competing demands.
This is a senior-scope individual contributor role with direct accountability to research leadership and visibility across the full AI Annotations program portfolio. Annotation domain knowledge is useful context, but Program Management depth is the job. This person provides the operational architecture and the discipline to keep every team moving against it. Jira architecture and cross-tool program visibility are core to this role from day one.
Help reshape the world through proactive healthcare while working with cutting-edge technology and high performing teams with deep expertise - join us to make a difference in people’s lives!
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Own the annotation program as a portfolio: maintain a unified view of all active workstreams, dependencies, timelines, and risks across teams and vendors at all times.
- →Own Jira architecture end-to-end: hierarchy design, custom fields, workflow automation, sprint configuration, and cross-board reporting wired to Google Sheets and Looker to create visibility on SLA frameworks, QC loops, and vendor accountability.
- →Manage external annotation vendor relationships, setting expectations clearly, tracking against commitments, and escalating on the record when delivery is at risk.
- →Partner with radiologists and research leads to translate clinical requirements into structured, executable annotation guidelines, then hold contributors to those standards consistently.
- →Anticipate capacity gaps, dependency conflicts, and delivery risks in advance, surfacing them with a proposed path forward.
- →Support regulatory and clinical validation efforts by ensuring annotation workflows produce audit-traceable, documentation-ready outputs.
Must-have:
- 7+ years in program or operations management, with ownership of a multi-team, multi-dependency program from strategy through execution, including capacity planning across internal teams and external vendors. Comfortable operating with light oversight.
- Deep Jira administration experience: built it from scratch for a multi-team program, including hierarchy design, issue schemas, workflow automation, and dashboard reporting connected to external tools.
- Strong Google Sheets fluency, including Apps Script automation, has written scripts to solve real operational problems.
- Experience building or maintaining dashboards (Looker, Tableau, or equivalent) to make program status visible to non-technical stakeholders.
- A track record of managing external vendors or cross-functional partners against hard timelines and quality standards, with documented escalation when commitments slip.
- Clean escalation skills, and the ability to raise problems up the chain transparently, without going behind anyone's back, and without losing the relationship.
- Fluency with AI tools, i.e., using LLMs to draft documentation, automate repetitive tasks, and write scripts, and a default orientation toward finding AI-assisted shortcuts before doing things manually.
- Health tech, MedTech, or clinical research background, familiarity with regulated environments and expert stakeholders, including quality management systems or audit-traceable workflow requirements.
- Experience managing annotation programs or data labeling operations at scale.
- Familiarity with annotation platforms such as RedBrick AI, Labelbox, or Encord.
