VIC Senior Commissioning Engineer

As an experienced Commissioning Engineer with strong audio-visual, audio systems and networking expertise, you'll take on a senior role within our Engineering team and be that go-to person for your fellow colleagues and clients. You will ensure that client expectations and scope requirements are met with a high level of quality control across our project developments. You'll be hands on and lead commissioning activities while working directly with clients on-site to deliver successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the commissioning of AV/UC spaces, audio systems, and integrated technology solutions onsite and in workshop environments.
• Configure, test and troubleshoot network-connected AV devices and systems.
• Commission and optimise DSP, audio conferencing, and sound reinforcement systems.
• Develop and maintain system documentation.
• Perform detailed QA checks, user acceptance testing, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure project success.

Key Experience & Capabilities:

• Deep knowledge of AV systems, professional audio technologies and UC platforms.
• Solid understanding of serial comms, AV network integration, and control protocols.
• Experience commissioning DSP platforms, audio conferencing systems, and sound reinforcement solutions.
• Relevant qualifications in Electronics, Engineering or Computer Science.
• NSW Driver’s License and willingness to travel to client sites.
• Ability to lead on-site engagements and communicate effectively with clients.
• CCNA certification preferred. 
• Programming skills in C-like languages, Python, C#, HTML5, JavaScript, or React are desirable.
