Automation QA Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial to ensuring the quality and reliability of our microservices-based product, and you will own the entire testing process, from planning to execution. You will be working closely with developers to create a robust automation framework.

• →Lead and manage the full software testing life cycle, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• →Design, develop, and maintain automated E2E tests using Cucumber (Java).
• →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies for new features and releases.
• →Contribute to product design to ensure test coverage aligns with end-user requirements.
• →Create analysis reports and communicate results to the engineering team, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
• →Log test results and ensure defects are tracked through to resolution.
• →Maintain and optimise existing test suites, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
• →Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
• →Advocate for best practices in testing, code quality, and automation.
• →Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of quality across the team.

• 3+ years of QA experience, with a strong focus on automation testing.
• Experience in manual testing.
• Expertise in Java for automation.
• Hands-on experience with Cucumber for E2E and integration testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Experience in microservices testing, performance testing, and/or other specialized tests is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Knowledge of performance testing, microservices testing, or other specialized testing approaches.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.
• Basic-to-intermediate AWS knowledge and SaaS experience.
• Experience with Playwright.
