CZ: Interior Procurement Manager

Our client, a leading European real estate investment, development and management company, is seeking an Interior Procurement Manager for a Prague-based technical buying role. Interior Procurement Manager CZ/2609/IPRM Based in Prague About the Role Take responsibility for sourcing and contracting materials, suppliers and subcontractors for interior fit-outs, raised access floors, suspended ceilings, glass partitions and furniture. The role combines practical construction knowledge with tendering, commercial negotiation and cost control, working closely with construction and project teams. Responsibilities Manage sourcing and tenders for interior fit-outs, raised access floors, suspended ceilings, glass partitions and furniture. Review drawings, specifications, quantities and bills of quantities with technical colleagues to define a clear purchasing scope. Compare supplier and subcontractor offers for price, scope completeness, technical suitability, quality and delivery times. Negotiate prices, commercial terms and contracts; develop reliable supplier relationships. Identify suitable technical alternatives and value-engineering opportunities while maintaining required performance and quality. Coordinate procurement with project schedules, budgets and site requirements. Monitor supplier performance and resolve scope, delivery and commercial issues with the project team. Requirements At least three years of directly relevant construction experience. Technical understanding of interior fit-outs, raised access floors, suspended ceilings, glass partitions and furniture. Practical experience with construction tenders, supplier selection, offer comparison and commercial negotiation. Ability to understand technical documentation, assess costs and work with construction professionals. Czech language required. Conversational English is mandatory for communication with foreign suppliers. Working Arrangements Prague-based role, with a maximum of one home-working day per week. Occasional project visits, approximately one day every two to four weeks. Direct reporting to the hiring manager.
