As a Lead Refrigeration Install & Service Technician, you will be responsible for leading refrigeration installation projects, performing service and troubleshooting, and ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Goodwin Tucker Group's high standards.

You will work directly with customers, project managers, other technicians, and team members while serving as a leader in the field.

  Lead and perform commercial refrigeration installation and replacement projects.

• →

  Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems and equipment.

• →

  Read and interpret plans, schematics, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.

• →

  Lead installation crews and coordinate daily field activities.

• →

  Ensure installations are completed accurately, efficiently, and according to project specifications.

• →

  Commission and start up new refrigeration equipment and systems.

• →

  Perform preventative maintenance and service calls as needed.

• →

  Identify system issues and recommend appropriate repairs or solutions.

• →

  Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service while working on customer sites.

• →

  Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, dispatchers, and other team members.

• →

  Maintain accurate service records, job documentation, and material usage.

• →

  Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety standards and applicable codes.

• →

  Maintain company vehicle, tools, equipment, tablet, and other assigned resources.

• →

  Mentor and assist less-experienced technicians and apprentices.

• →

  Represent Goodwin Tucker Group professionally in the field.

• Proven experience working with commercial refrigeration systems.

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

• Experience with refrigeration installation, startup, and service.

• Ability to read electrical and refrigeration schematics.

• Strong understanding of refrigeration controls, electrical systems, and components.

• Ability to work independently while also leading a team.

• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Professional appearance and positive attitude.

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

• Ability to work in commercial environments and occasionally work flexible hours when projects or service needs require it.

• EPA certification required or preferred, depending on company requirements.
