We're Hiring: Ophthalmic Scrub Nurses & Practitioners
Be part of a trusted and caring team delivering exceptional theatre and ophthalmic services.
Hours: 34.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday | Between 08:00 – 18:00
Job Share: Available for candidates who can commit to set days
Travel: Flexibility to work across multiple sites in your area

Theatre Scrub Nurses or Practitioners

Ophthalmic experience preferred (private sector experience is a bonus)
-
Minimum 1 year post-registration experience in a clinical/hospital setting

Current NMC Registration required
Competitive Pay Rates: £32.50 - £43.24
Responsibilities

Provide scrub experience and clinical support in theatre
- →
Deliver full patient care from admission to post-op recovery
- →
Administer drugs per NMC guidelines and manage stock levels
- →
Maintain and prepare all equipment daily, adhering to safety procedures
- →
Support consultants and teams in delivering ophthalmic care
- →
Adhere to clinical governance and record-keeping policies
- →
Participate in weekend and “on-call” rotas
- →
Uphold patient confidentiality per the Data Protection Act
- →
Assist at nearby clinics as needed
- →
Undertake in-house ALS training

Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
