Responsibilities
~1 min readAs a Band 6 Locum Physiotherapist You will assess and develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans for patients under the Reablement and Adult Social Care caseload. You will implement appropriate interventions to enhance patient mobility and independence. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and effective patient management. You will cross-prescribe when necessary and manage simple occupational therapy cases within your scope of practice. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting progress and outcomes in line with professional standards. You will participate in team meetings and contribute to service development initiatives as needed. You will provide education and support to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation and care options.
Requirements

- Ability to cross-prescribe and manage simple OT cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
- A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
- A valid driving license is desirable but not essential.
