Pulse is currently seeking 2 x experienced Band 7 Dietitians to join the team in Birmingham. These are excellent opportunities for highly skilled dietitians with a broad acute hospital background to work across a range of specialties, delivering expert nutritional care and supporting positive patient outcomes.
Successful candidates will have extensive experience managing complex patients within acute settings and will be confident providing leadership, clinical expertise, and support to multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide specialist dietetic assessment, treatment, and management for patients across a variety of acute clinical areas
- →Deliver evidence-based nutritional interventions to support patient recovery and wellbeing
- →Manage patients requiring enteral feeding, including assessment, monitoring, and ongoing nutritional support
- →Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes
- →Support service development and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- →Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the team where appropriate
- →Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with professional and organisational standards
Requirements
~1 min read- HCPC registered Dietitian
- Significant experience working within an acute hospital setting
- Extensive clinical experience across a range of specialties, including:
- General Medicine
- Healthcare of Older People (HCOP)
- Stroke
- Surgery
- Mental Health
- Strong experience in enteral feeding and nutritional support
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to support multidisciplinary working
- Excellent communication, organisational, and clinical decision-making skills
