Responsibilities
~1 min readAs a Band 7 Locum Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring accurate and high-quality diagnostic images. You will work closely with patients to explain procedures and ensure their comfort and safety. Additionally, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to interpret results and provide comprehensive patient care. Your role will also involve maintaining and operating imaging equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and participating in continuous professional development.
Requirements

- Relevant degree or equivalent in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably at Band 7 level
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and imaging techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to patient care and safety
- Up-to-date knowledge of radiation protection and safety regulations
- Proficiency in using nuclear medicine imaging equipment and software
