About the Role

  • Provide a highly specialist level of clinical skill in paediatric physiotherapy.
  • Manage a clinical caseload of children and young people attending Perseid Special Schools as identified by the service specification.
  • Independently manage the defined caseload and prioritize own workload to ensure effective service provision.
  • Use clinical assessments, interviews, and observational skills to determine the physiotherapy needs of children and young people.
  • Effectively set goals and plan interventions based on assessments.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Educate and support families and caregivers in managing their child’s condition.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
