Are you a skilled and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of neurodivergent children and their families? Pulse is recruiting for a permanent Clinical Psychologist to join a dedicated and growing Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) based in Keele, Staffordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of specialist autism services, working in a collaborative and forward-thinking clinical environment.
Responsibilities
~1 min readAs a Practitioner Psychologist, you will:
- →Deliver specialist autism and neurodevelopmental assessments, formulations, and interventions for children and young people.
- →Work collaboratively within a diverse MDT including Psychologists, LD Nurses, OTs, SALTs, Paediatricians, Assistants, Trainees, and volunteers.
- →Prepare comprehensive psychological reports and communicate findings to families and professionals.
- →Provide evidence-based individual and group interventions for children, families, and carers.
- →Offer specialist consultation, advice, and training to colleagues and external professionals.
- →Contribute to service development, evaluation, and audit in collaboration with the research team.
- →Provide clinical supervision and support to Assistant and Trainee Psychologists.

- Doctorate (or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology
- HCPC registration
- Experience in autism and neurodevelopmental assessment and diagnosis
- Skilled in psychometric testing, cognitive/neuropsychological assessments, and clinical formulation
- Experience working with children, young people, and families
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-working skills
- Commitment to inclusive and person-centred practice
- Enhanced DBS with barred lists required
