Locum Band 7 Pharmacist (Older Persons Medicine) - Portsmouth

Pulse is currently seeking experienced Band 7 Specialist Pharmacists to join the Older Persons Medicine team at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. • →Deliver and develop clinical pharmacy services for older persons’ medicine
• →Provide expert pharmaceutical advice to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care
• →Support medicines optimisation and improve outcomes for elderly patients
• →Work closely with multidisciplinary teams across the Trust
• →Contribute to clinical governance, risk management, and service improvement initiatives
• →Support education and training within the department

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Experience working at Band 7 level or equivalent in a hospital setting
• Previous experience in older persons’ medicine or general medicine (desirable)
• Strong knowledge of medicines optimisation and clinical governance
• Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
