Registered Intensive Care Nurse - London Borough of Harrow

Pulse are looking for registered and experienced Band 5 & 6 Registered Intensive Care Nurses in the London Borough of Harrow.

PAYE £19.00 -£30.77

• →Plan, implement and evaluate care
• →Assist patients with their activities of daily living
• →Regular assessment and monitoring of patient’s vital signs
• →Perform different types of observations and use of different monitoring systems
• →Use and ensure working function of varied medical equipment such as ventilators, infusions pumps, feeding pumps, monitors
• →Administer medication via different routes
• →Care for patient receiving invasive and non-invasive ventilation
• →Recognize patient deterioration and timely escalation of care
• →Communicate effectively with members of the multidisciplinary team, patients, and relatives
• →Work as part of a team
• →Make appropriate referrals and Prepare patient for discharge or transfer
• →Keep accurate and timely patient records and follow local policies and procedures

To be considered for this role you will need to have:

• →Valid NMC registration
• →At least 6 months recent UK NHS experience within the ITU Sector
• →Ability to provide a clinical reference as well as covering the last three years of employment.
• →Able to provide an enhanced DBS or documents to apply for one.
• →Right to work within the UK - proof will be required.
