Registered Neonatal Nurse-Whitechapel

Pulse are looking for registered and experienced Band 5 & 6 Registered Neonatal Nurse in East London in Whitechapel.

£26.00 - £39.57

• →Attending births and providing care for infants directly after birth.
• →Evaluating and overseeing the care of infants in the NICU.
• →Monitoring the health of infants suffering from medical issues relating to birth, such as prematurity or congenital defects.
• →Performing tests and obtaining and evaluating the results.
• →Providing treatment and administering medication as proscribed by the NICU physician.
• →Running and maintaining the equipment in the NICU.
• →Formulate nursing plans and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments
• →Comfort sick new-borns and anxious parents and family members
• →Offer support to parents and educate them on the at-home care of their new-born

To be considered for this role you will need to have:

• →Valid NMC registration
• →At least 6 months recent UK NHS experience within the Neonatal Sector
• →Ability to provide a clinical reference as well as covering the last three years of employment.
• →Able to provide an enhanced DBS or documents to apply for one.
• →Right to work within the UK - proof will be required.
