Specialist Speech and Language Therapist- Band 6 Fixed Term

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. This role is crucial in providing high-quality care and support to adults with neurological conditions.

• →Assess, diagnose, and manage speech, language, and communication disorders in adults with neurological conditions.
• →Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• →Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• →Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers.
• →Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• →Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.

• Qualifications: Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience, with significant experience in adult neuro rehabilitation.
• Skills: Excellent communication, assessment, and therapeutic skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of neurological conditions and their impact on communication and swallowing.
