Salary: £50,861 – £59,159 per annum (DOE)
Working Hours: Full-time / Part-time
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join a state-of-the-art, purpose-built neurological rehabilitation centre in Glasgow. This specialist service supports adults with acquired brain injuries and complex neurological conditions, providing high-quality, person-centred rehabilitation within a multidisciplinary team environment.
This role is ideal for an experienced therapist looking to develop their clinical expertise in neurorehabilitation. You will work autonomously while collaborating closely with a wider team, playing a key role in supporting individuals to improve their communication and quality of life.
Responsibilities

• Work as an autonomous Speech and Language Therapist within a multidisciplinary team.
• Assess how a person’s communication difficulties impact their daily life and provide appropriate interventions.
• Develop and deliver personalised management and rehabilitation plans.
• Work collaboratively with service users and their social networks to overcome communication barriers.
• Provide training and support to staff and the individual’s wider support network.
• Contribute to service development and continuous improvement within the organisation.
Requirements

• A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
• HCPC registration and eligibility for membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
• Experience working with adults with neurological conditions and/or acquired brain injuries (Band 6/7 level).
• Strong clinical reasoning and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach to professional development and service improvement.
