We are seeking to hire an ambitious Health Economist and Outcomes Researcher to join our growing and highly talented Health Economics team HEOR team as an Analyst, focusing on Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) and Preference Elicitation Studies. You will contribute to groundbreaking projects that influence healthcare decision-making, advancing the understanding of patient perspectives and preferences to enhance value-driven healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

  • To support a range of quantitative and qualitative and health economics and outcomes research projects, including health valuation and utility measurement, analysis of outcomes data and development of patient-reported outcome measures for our valued clients.
  • The focus of the role is on patient-reported outcome measurement and preference elicitation research.

Requirements

Functional technical expertise

  • Educational degree (such as MSc) in in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Medical Sciences, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience, with a strong track record in PRO and preference elicitation studies.
  • Knowledge of health economics and methodologies for the analysis of patient-reported outcomes (e.g., utility measurement, analysis and development of patient reported outcome measures)
  • Knowledge of methodologies for utility measurement, survey development, and psychometric validation.
  • Understanding of statistical analysis, econometrics, and data interpretation.
  • Project management skills
  • Good knowledge of statistical software packages (e.g., Stata, R)
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel skills

Communication skills

  • Ability to clearly communicate technical issues

Other desirable attributes  

  • Willingness to contribute towards non-project related work for PHMR
  • Great to work with as part of a team
  • Ability to work autonomously when needed
