In this role, you will help build next-generation ECNS (Echo Cancellation & Noise Suppression) solutions by combining signal processing and AI techniques. You will work across the full lifecycle—from algorithm and model development to system tuning and customer deployment, directly impacting voice quality on millions of devices. Job Overview: We are looking for a hands-on Audio Systems Engineer with strong expertise in speech/audio signal processing and working knowledge of AI-based audio models. You will develop and optimize voice/VoIP audio pipelines, integrate AI with classical DSP blocks, and collaborate with software and Customer Engineering teams to deliver production-quality solutions across multiple platforms. Responsibilities: * Develop and tune voice/VoIP audio pipelines, including ECNS, noise suppression, and filtering * Integrate and optimize AI models within signal processing chains * Evaluate and improve speech quality using objective and subjective methods * Work closely with software and Customer Engineering teams to enable and debug end-to-end use cases * Support customer deployments and field issues through tuning, model improvements, or targeted analysis * Contribute to model development, validation, and selection for ECNS processing * Collaborate with research teams to improve algorithms and models Minimum Qualifications: * Strong background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) for speech/audio * 5+ years of experience in audio/voice signal processing or VoIP systems * Hands-on experience with ECNS, noise suppression, or speech enhancement * Experience with MATLAB and/or Python * Strong C/C++ programming skills * Experience working with cross-functional teams (SW, CE, systems) Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with AI models for speech/audio processing * Experience integrating DSP and AI in real-time systems * Familiarity with audio quality evaluation methods * Experience with embedded or low-power platforms Education Requirements: Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field (PhD preferred) Keywords: DSP, ECNS, echo cancellation, noise suppression, speech enhancement, AI audio, VoIP, audio tuning Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
