This role will report to the Manager, Employee Communications in HR, People Solutions and Services. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Communications Specialist, Employee Communications Role Summary: The Communications Specialist will support the development and execution of HR communications that drive awareness, engagement, and action across a global workforce. This role is responsible for creating compelling content, managing digital communication channels, supporting HR programs and delivering integrated multi-channel communication campaigns. The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer with hands-on experience using Staffbase, ServiceNow, and SharePoint to manage communications, content publishing, and stakeholder requests within a global, shared-services environment. Key Responsibilities: * Develop, write, edit, and proofread high-quality employee communications across multiple formats, including email campaigns, intranet articles, newsletters, presentations, FAQs, video scripts * Lead communication support for HR programs and initiatives, including wellbeing, talent development, employee experience, recognition, benefits, and organizational initiatives. * Manage and publish content through Staffbase, ensuring timely, engaging, and effective delivery across employee communication channels. * Utilize ServiceNow and SharePoint to manage communication intake processes, workflows, approvals, content repositories, and stakeholder requests. * Partner with HR, Employee Communications, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop communication strategies, key messaging, and integrated campaign plans. * Execute multi-channel communication campaigns leveraging email, intranet, digital signage, newsletters, and other employee communication channels. * Create visually compelling communication materials, including infographics, presentations, and other digital assets that simplify complex information and enhance employee engagement. * Manage employee distribution lists, audience segmentation, and communication targeting to ensure accurate and effective message delivery. * Coordinate translation requirements and manage external vendor relationships to support global communication needs. * Maintain communication calendars, content governance practices, and channel operations to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with organizational standards. * Identify opportunities to improve communication processes, channel effectiveness, and employee engagement through data-driven insights and best practices. * Manage multiple communication projects simultaneously while balancing stakeholder priorities and meeting deadlines. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in communications, Human Resources, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. * 5-7 years of experience in internal communications, employee communications, HR communications, or a related discipline. * Excellent written, verbal, editing, and proofreading skills. * Experience supporting communications for large, geographically dispersed employee populations. * Preferred Qualifications * Hands-on experience with Staffbase for employee communications, content publishing, campaign execution, and channel management. * Experience using ServiceNow for request intake, workflow management, approvals, and communications operations. * Experience managing and administering content within SharePoint environments. * Experience working within a global shared services or center-of-excellence communications function. * Demonstrated success delivering enterprise-wide, multi-channel communication campaigns. * Strong visual communication skills, including the creation of infographics and presentation materials. * Experience supporting HR, employee engagement, change management, or organizational communications initiatives. Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of Employee Communications or related work experience. OR Associate's degree and 4+ years of Employee Communications or related work experience. OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of Employee Communications or related work experience. *Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
