Regional Field Operations Manager – Miscellaneous Metals

We are seeking a seasoned construction leader to oversee field operations for miscellaneous metals and architectural metals projects across the Mid-Atlantic region. This position provides strategic leadership for multiple installation teams while ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality expectations.
The successful candidate will have extensive field management experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record coordinating labor, materials, equipment, and project schedules across multiple job sites.
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to field supervisors, foremen, and installation crews
- Promote accountability, productivity, and professional development among field personnel
- Assist with workforce planning, labor forecasting, and staffing coordination
- Ensure field teams have the resources necessary to execute projects successfully
- Foster a strong safety-first culture across all active projects
- Conduct and support regular safety meetings, training sessions, and site evaluations
- Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, company policies, and project-specific safety procedures
- Address safety concerns promptly and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and logistics for multiple concurrent projects
- Partner with project management teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to support project objectives
- Monitor field productivity and installation progress against established schedules
- Provide routine project status updates and communicate potential challenges proactively
- Assist in identifying and resolving field issues that may impact schedules, budgets, or quality
- Support field operations involving:
- Stair systems
- Handrails and guardrails
- Structural and miscellaneous metal installations
- Rigging activities
- Architectural finish work
- Ensure installation work meets contract requirements, specifications, and quality standards
- Review field performance and implement best practices to improve efficiency and workmanship
- SMAW
- FCAW
- GMAW
- GTAW
- Experience utilizing industry software and collaboration tools such as Bluebeam, Trimble Connect, and Tekla
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, including occasional overnight travel
This role is well suited for an experienced field leader who enjoys managing multiple projects, developing teams, driving safety initiatives, and delivering high-quality miscellaneous metals installations across a regional territory.
