JT038- INJECTION MOLDING SET UP PROCESSOR

In this role, you’ll work with a highly enthusiastic team, contributing in a world-class manufacturing industry in Puerto Rico & USA.

• →Perform mold installation, removal, and changeovers on plastic injection molding machines according to production schedules.
• →Set up and adjust machine process parameters to ensure product quality and operational efficiency.
• →Execute machine, mold, and auxiliary equipment set-ups prior to production start-up.
• →Verify proper operation of molds, cooling systems, and production equipment.
• →Perform production start-ups and make process adjustments to meet quality specifications.
• →Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot process deviations as needed.
• →Identify and resolve issues related to molds, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
• →Perform material and color changeovers in accordance with production requirements.
• →Complete documentation related to mold changes, process parameters, and production activities.
• →Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production departments to optimize processes and minimize downtime.
• →Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• →Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, and process efficiency.

• Technical Degree in Mechanical Technology, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in mold setup, machine setup, or plastic injection molding operations.
• Knowledge of plastic resin processing parameters and injection molding processes.
• Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and making process adjustments.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, procedures, and technical documentation.
