Traveling Quality Control Specialist

Our traveling teams support projects in data centers, semiconductor facilities, advanced manufacturing, industrial facilities, mission-critical environments, and other large-scale commercial projects.

• →Perform visual and dimensional inspections of welds and fabricated assemblies
• →Verify materials, welding consumables, and compliance with WPS requirements
• →Monitor welding and fabrication activities for compliance with AWS, ASME, and project specifications
• →Coordinate and support NDT activities, including UT, MT, PT, and RT
• →Maintain inspection reports, quality records, NCRs, and turnover documentation
• →Witness welder qualification testing and maintain welder continuity records
• →Review drawings, specifications, WPS, PQRs, and project quality requirements
• →Work with fabrication teams, Project Managers, customers, and inspectors to resolve quality concerns
• →Support quality improvement initiatives and promote a strong safety culture
• →Assist with inspections, turnover, and project closeout

• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification required
• 3–5+ years of welding inspection experience in fabrication, structural steel, piping, or mechanical environments
• Strong knowledge of AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX, and ASME B31.1/B31.3
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, WPS, and PQR documentation
• Familiarity with NDT methods preferred
• Strong understanding of quality control processes and documentation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively
