About the Role
~1 min readJoin the RMCLHN as a Nurse Practitioner and make a meaningful difference in palliative care delivery across community, acute and aged care settings. As a recognised clinical expert, you will provide advanced, autonomous nursing care, clinical leadership, education and supervision, while working collaboratively with key stakeholders to drive best practice, service development and quality outcomes for consumers. This is an exciting opportunity to use your expertise and leadership to shape and enhance palliative care services across the region.
- Registered Nurse with current or eligible Nurse Practitioner endorsement and practising certificate.
- Minimum 3 years’ post-registration experience with advanced palliative care nursing expertise.
- Demonstrated autonomous practice, clinical leadership and effective multidisciplinary teamwork.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, change management and quality improvement skills.
- Commitment to consumer-centred, culturally safe care, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
- Tertiary qualifications in nursing, human services or a related discipline.
- Ability to work collaboratively, support staff development and confidently use relevant computer systems.
- Experience in quality improvement, nursing research and knowledge of the South Australian Public Health System.
