About the Role
~1 min readWe're looking for an SEO/AEO/GEO Specialist to own Recooty's organic visibility across traditional search engines and AI answer engines. You'll drive strategy and execution: keyword and topic research, on-page and technical SEO, AI citation optimization, and measurement. Search is changing faster than it has in two decades, and this role sits exactly where it's changing. You'll work directly with the founding team and shape how a global SaaS brand gets discovered.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Own the organic search strategy across Google, Bing, and AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews)
- →Run keyword, topic, and content gap research for the hiring and HR tech space
- →Optimize new and existing content for AI citation: answer-first structure, question-format headers, FAQ blocks, statistics-backed passages, and schema markup
- →Manage technical SEO health: indexing, site structure, Core Web Vitals, duplicate content, and structured data
- →Build and maintain the internal linking architecture across our blog
- →Track and report on rankings, organic traffic, AI mentions and citations, and conversions, with clear monthly insights
- →Monitor how AI platforms answer queries in our category and systematically grow Recooty's share of those citations
- →Plan content refreshes and prioritize what to create, update, or consolidate
- →Work with our content and social teams so everything we publish is built to rank and be cited
- →Eventually mentor SEO interns as the team grows
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on SEO experience with results you can show: rankings grown, traffic gained, or leads generated
- Strong command of on-page, technical, and content SEO fundamentals
- Genuine working knowledge of AEO and GEO: you understand how featured snippets, AI Overviews, and LLM citations work, even if your past role didn't have the title
- Proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and at least one major SEO tool (Semrush, Ahrefs, or similar)
- Comfort with schema markup and structured data
- Strong written English; you can brief, edit, and structure content yourself, not just audit it
- A data-first mindset: you diagnose before you prescribe, and you label estimates as estimates
- SaaS, B2B, or tech content experience is a strong plus
- Based in Jabalpur or willing to relocate
Nice to Have

- Experience with AI visibility tracking tools (Profound, Peec AI, LLM Pulse, or similar)
- Familiarity with programmatic SEO or content automation workflows
