The position balances autonomous remote execution with structured weekly collaboration to maintain precision across the group's financial operations. Working on a full-day, permanent basis, the successful candidate will manage daily transactional accounting while supporting strategic administrative workflows. This remote position requires the incumbent to be based in the Johannesburg area to facilitate mandatory weekly in-person meetings in Fourways. Key Responsibilities Maintain full responsibility for digital accounting processes / administration up to management accounts level, collaborating with a Chartered Accountant to ensure regulatory alignment. Generate and issue professional client quotations efficiently to support business development. Manage debtor portfolios actively by implementing diligent follow-up procedures on outstanding payments to optimize cash flow. Administer the monthly payroll function accurately to ensure timely employee remuneration. Compile, verify, and execute statutory submissions including VAT, PAYE, and related statutory filings to maintain regulatory compliance. Coordinate personnel and fleet vehicle administration to support smooth business operations. Communicate professionally and articulately with all corporate stakeholders via telephonic calls, email, and WhatsApp platforms. Essential Requirements Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a dedicated financial clerk or administrative position. Demonstrated ability to work highly independently within a remote office environment. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel. Provision of verifiable, contactable professional references. Residency within the Johannesburg area with the capacity to attend mandatory weekly in-person meetings in Fourways. Desirable Requirements Xero certification. Prior working knowledge of HubDoc. Prior working knowledge of SimplePay.
