Responsibilities

→Develops various PR materials, including media alerts, photo captions and more
→Regularly updates media contact lists.
→Monitors Media & PR inboxes (including answering media requests in a timely manner)
→Participates in brainstorm sessions for PR tactics and pitches.
→Tracsk media coverage and sentiment and provides summary reports to management, as needed.
→Assists with implementing tactics and event planning, including broadcast shoots, media FAMs, etc.
→Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
→Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred majors include: Public Relations, Communications, or related
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication skills (comfortable with communicating with others in person, by phone and by email.
Team player with a "go-getter" attitude.
Passionate and interested in learning about Public Relations.

This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than August 2027.
Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
