Design Engineer (Remote)

RemoteStar is looking to hire a Design Engineer on behalf of our client in the Scotland.

About Role - We are looking to hire a Design Engineer who has experience in design and building structures.

About Client-  UK’s leading Structural Steelwork suppliers, offering a total solution for large-scale developments since 1992 with a client base that includes some of the UK’s and Ireland’sforemost main contractors and developers, enabling us to work across retail, commercial, health, education, data, and industrial sectors.

Location- Carnwath, South Lanarkshire -Scotland

As a Design Engineer, you will:
-Be working on the Structural Frame Design, Connection Design, and Foundation Design of client projects.
-Being responsible for delivering projects
-Be communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

What do we value

-Experience in design and building structures of Structural Frame Design, Connection Design, and Foundation Design
-Experience in using design software is essential.
-Experience in delivering projects through the SER certification process would be beneficial.
-CEng, MIStructE, and MICE are preferable however the client can assist with mentoring should the candidate wish to work toward these professional qualifications.
-Good communication skills are required with internal teams and external clients.
