The Supply Chain Specialists responsible for managing the assigned category portfolio and associated activities.  This includes but is not limited to maximizing supplier performance, supporting new product development (NPI), leading cost savings and avoidance projects, and other Sourcing related activities.  She/he will lead negotiations of purchasing agreements and other contracts which include pricing, terms and conditions, risk mitigations, and warranties.
 
The Supply Chain Specialist will develop, implement, and manage global strategies to provide values in supply assurance, pricing, flexibility, quality and delivery performance.  They benchmark new processes, approaches, technology that provide improvements and value that we can utilize.  The Supply Chain Specialist researches, identifies and analyzes current and emerging procurement trends, develops a deep understanding of market conditions and develops proposed global supply chain solutions focusing on total cost of ownership.
 
  • Purchases materials, supplies, and services for multiple global manufacturing and distribution facilities
  • Follow up with our domestic and international suppliers on production planning and delivery dates
  • Share with internal teams freight planning and ensure timely and accurate execution according to our planning
  • Work with Accounts Payables on invoice processing and accuracy
  • Maintaining and distributing various reports, among those, inventory, purchasing and freight
  • Negotiate pricing and timeline for orders
  • Identifies savings opportunities through the supply chain
  • Bachelor degree (preferred in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management) from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Speaking Mandarin or Vietnamese is a strong plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention-to-detail, and multitasking capability.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant or equivalent work experience and expertise.
  • Track record of delivering significant cost reduction and service level improvements.
  • Strong skills in freight and logistics
  • Strong analytical / organizational / data entry skills
  • Must have advanced Excel skills
  • Be able to work successfully and calmly in a challenging, high paced environment
