Position Overview:
As a General Clerk with River Edge, you will perform a variety of duties in an outpatient office setting. Experience working in a medical or behavioral health practice setting is preferred. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Location/Schedule: 3575 Fulton Mill Road, Macon, GA – 36 hours 3-12 hours shifts between Sunday-Saturday and Every other Weekend 7am7pm or 7pm7am.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the front desk receptionist, greeting visitors and clients with excellent customer service.
Check in clients for provider appointments and assist new clients with enrolling in services in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Provide clerical support to office and direct support staff, including data entry and maintenance, copying and distributing documents/materials, maintaining records, and filing systems.
Provide clerical support within the assigned functional area, including scheduling maintenance, ordering supplies, and alerting security as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Must be at least 21 years of age
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Positive attitude and strong communication skills
Ability to handle and protect confidential information
Ability to lift 16–20 pounds as needed
Customer service experience or experience in a behavioral health setting preferred
