Compliance Manager, Program Operations (Remote)

Rula is a remote-first company. We currently hire in most U.S. states, with the exception of Hawaii.

We are seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented compliance professional to support and strengthen our Compliance program. The Compliance Manager will report to the Director of Compliance and be instrumental in supporting the company’s day-to-day compliance needs. This role will focus on providing compliance advisory support to business stakeholders, independently performing compliance investigations, assisting with auditing and monitoring activities, and advancing policy governance and development. The ideal candidate is analytical, solutions-oriented, and comfortable translating regulations into practical guidance that balances risk and business needs.

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare compliance, including policy development, regulatory interpretation, and program implementation

• 3+ years conducting or supporting compliance reviews and investigations

• Experience collaborating with business and other key stakeholders (i.e. Legal) on compliance concerns and risks

• Strong and concise communication skills, verbally and in writing

• Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, CMS guidance, OIG compliance program guidance, and other applicable federal and state healthcare laws

• Master's Degree and/or Juris Doctor or equivalent advanced training in healthcare law, compliance, or public health

• 2+ years of experience in telehealth, privacy and/or behavioral health compliance

• 2+ years of experience conducting compliance audits and risk assessments

• Certification in general healthcare compliance

• Experience using tools such as Zendesk, Salesforce, EHR platforms, AI tools, and reporting/data platforms to support compliance operations, research, investigations, monitoring, and reporting
