RVO Health is seeking an Associate Director of Inventory & Yield to join the Business Operations team. This role is focused on maximizing revenue and yield across our portfolio of brands through disciplined inventory management, pricing analytics, and revenue-per-page optimization.

You will own day-to-day yield and inventory analytics, ensuring we are pricing appropriately, allocating inventory efficiently, and identifying opportunities to increase revenue density (eCPM, fill rates, revenue per page) across platforms and products. This is a hands-on, analytically driven role that partners closely with Sales and Ad Operations to translate supply, demand, and performance signals into clear pricing and inventory actions.

The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical foundation in digital advertising, experience working with ad inventory and pricing data, and a bias toward execution, accuracy, and measurable revenue impact.

To prioritize togetherness, culture, and accountability, RVO Health operates on an in-office work schedule. We expect employees to work from our New York office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. You are welcome to work remotely Mondays and Fridays if you wish.

250 Park Avenue South, 6th FL New York, NY 10003

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clear, forward-looking view of available inventory by brand, platform, ad product, and placement, with an emphasis on revenue impact and yield potential.
  • Own and monitor core yield and monetization metrics (eCPM, RPM, revenue per page, sell-through), identifying underperforming inventory and concrete opportunities to improve pricing or allocation.
  • Support pricing best practices by analyzing historical performance, demand signals, and market dynamics to inform rate guidance and packaging decisions.
  • Partner closely with Sales Planning and Ad Operations to align inventory availability, pricing assumptions, and delivery constraints.
  • Help ensure inventory is allocated to maximize revenue, flagging risks related to under-delivery, over-commitment, or low-yield placements.
  • Build and maintain pricing models, yield analyses, and dashboards that enable faster, more consistent revenue decisions.
  • Contribute to forecast accuracy by maintaining inventory, pricing, and yield inputs used in planning and revenue outlooks.
  • Answer inventory and yield-related questions with clear data-backed insights, helping internal teams understand trade-offs and revenue implications.
  • Continuously improve tools, reporting, and processes that support pricing discipline, yield optimization, and inventory transparency.
  • 6 years of experience in digital advertising, inventory management, yield optimization, pricing analytics, or revenue operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect inventory, pricing, and yield to revenue outcomes.
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly and concisely, especially when explaining revenue trade-offs to non-technical partners.
  • Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel; ideally experience using BI tools (Tableau, Looker) to build repeatable, trusted reporting.
  • Experience working with or alongside ad servers and order management systems (e.g., Google Ad Manager, Operative, Salesforce).
  • Comfortable operating in a high-volume, detail-oriented environment where accuracy and follow-through matter.
  • Demonstrated interest in monetization, pricing mechanics, and revenue efficiency, not just reporting.
