Explore an opportunity to join a team of highly qualified professionals with specializations in trauma treatment with children, youth and families. We are seeking motivated individuals with experience providing direct clinical behavioral health services.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the philosophy of strength-based treatment, Core Values and trauma-informed, resilience-focused treatment modalities employed at Starr Commonwealth in working with youth and families.
- Utilize developmentally-appropriate, attachment-based, industry-standard, specialized approaches to trauma-informed, resilience-focused treatment.
- Participate in regular supervision and ongoing professional development.
- Be aware of and adhere to the Michigan Child Protection Law, especially as it relates to the mandatory reporting of suspected child abuse and/or neglect. Be aware and adhere to the Office of Recipient Rights reporting and conduct requirements.
- Protect the confidentiality for all consumers of the program consistent with the laws pertaining to confidentiality of the State of Michigan as well as Federal HIPAA laws.
- Develop and monitor client centered service plans consistent with the individual goals.
- Enter information into appropriate systems, internal and external, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Deliver Behavioral Health services consistent with our standards of practice, including the facilitation of intake and discharge interviews with clients.
- Build positive caring relationships with clients based on respect, trust and appropriate communication.
- Meet or exceed standard of delivering direct billable service 50% of total service time.
- Manage client caseload effectively, including opening and closing cases, and communication to minimize cancellations or no-shows.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Master's Degree in human services or related field
- 3 years working with youth and families
- Must have an active State of Michigan professional Master's level licensure; LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, LLPC, TLLP or LP
- Child Trauma and Resilience Practitioner - Clinical certification to be completed within 3 months of hire
- Valid driver's license without restrictions and minimal violations over past 3 years
- Pay Range: $57,000 - $63,640 annually
- Job Type: Full-time, hybrid
